NORTH BORNEO RAINFOREST FESTIVAL – INTERNATIONAL EDITION 2026

The North Borneo Rainforest Festival returns on 31 October and 1 November 2026, bringing together culture, music, art, creativity, community and the spirit of the rainforest in one unforgettable weekend.
Guided by the 2026 theme “Misoloot Sopisupi” (an ancestral gathering), NBRF creates a vibrant meeting point where people, ideas, traditions and contemporary expressions come together.
This 2026 International Edition welcomes cultural delegations and artists from Guam, Taiwan, the Philippines, West Kalimantan and beyond, creating opportunities for cultural exchange while celebrating Sabah’s rich indigenous heritage and Borneo’s diverse creative landscape.
There is something for everyone at NBRF!
Designed as a family-friendly festival for all ages, NBRF 2026 offers something for everyone. The programme features a Cultural Show on Saturday, 31 October, followed by a Music Concert on Sunday, 1 November, alongside dedicated kids’ workshops, nature exploration activities, interactive art and music spaces, and opportunities for visitors to discover and engage with Sabah’s diverse cultural traditions.
A vibrant food village will offer a diverse range of flavours, while the artisan market will showcase local creativity, crafts and products. Together, these experiences create a festival environment where families, friends, artists, communities and visitors can gather, explore and connect.
More than just a festival, NBRF 2026 is a place to gather and to honor our ancestors, to discover something new, share experiences, make connections and celebrate the diversity that makes Borneo special.

Each ticket admits one (1) person only. Ticket prices are listed in MYR/RM (Malaysian Ringgit) and exclude ticketing and processing fees.

All tickets are sold exclusively online and issued electronically. A printed or digital ticket must be presented for admission.

Each transaction allows a maximum purchase of six (6) tickets.

A ticketing fee of RM4.00 per ticket and a processing fee, based on the selected payment method, will be applied at checkout. These fees are non-refundable.

All ticket sales are final. Refunds, exchanges, upgrades, or cancellations are strictly not permitted under any circumstances.

The Organiser reserves the right to modify the event schedule, layout, or audience capacity without prior notice.

The Organiser and Venue Owner reserve the right to refuse admission or remove any individual without refund or compensation for disorderly conduct, inappropriate behaviour, or any actions that may compromise security or the enjoyment of other attendees.

Professional photography, videography, and live streaming on social media are strictly prohibited.

There are no age restrictions for admission to this event. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied at all times by a ticket-holding parent, legal guardian, or accompanying adult aged 18 years or above. All attendees, regardless of age, must possess a valid ticket at the full ticket price.

Upon entering the venue, all ticket holders are subject to security checks, including bag and body searches.

The resale of tickets or purchasing from unauthorised sellers or scalpers is strictly prohibited. The Event Organiser/Promoter reserves the right to cancel such tickets without compensation and deny entry to the event.
