NORTH BORNEO RAINFOREST FESTIVAL – INTERNATIONAL EDITION 2026
*31 October – 1 November 2026 | Koisaan Cultural Village, KDCA, Penampang, Sabah*
The North Borneo Rainforest Festival returns on 31 October and 1 November 2026, bringing together culture, music, art, creativity, community and the spirit of the rainforest in one unforgettable weekend.
Guided by the 2026 theme, *“Misoloot Sopisupi” (an ancestral gathering)*, NBRF creates a vibrant meeting point where people, ideas, traditions and contemporary expressions come together.
This 2026 International Edition welcomes cultural delegations and artists from Guam, Taiwan, the Philippines, West Kalimantan and beyond, creating opportunities for cultural exchange while celebrating Sabah’s rich indigenous heritage and Borneo’s diverse creative landscape.

## THREE FESTIVAL EXPERIENCES IN ONE
NBRF 2026 brings together three main festival spaces, each offering a different part of the experience:

2. FOOD VILLAGE & OPEN FESTIVAL AREA
Take a break, enjoy local food and drinks, browse artisan products and crafts, and spend time with friends and family in the open festival area.
3. CULTURAL SHOW ON DAY 1 AND NBRF MUSIC CONCERT ON DAY 2
End the day with live performances by artists from Sabah, Malaysia and around the region, bringing together different sounds, traditions and contemporary music.

The festival programme runs throughout the day, so there is more to NBRF than the concert alone.
Come early to explore Koisaan Cultural Village, visit the exhibitions, join the activities, enjoy the **Food Village and artisan market*, watch the cultural performances and then stay on for the NBRF Concert.

The programme features a *Cultural Show on Saturday, 31 October, followed by the **NBRF Concert on Sunday, 1 November*, alongside kids’ workshops, nature exploration activities, interactive art and music spaces, and opportunities for visitors to discover and engage with Sabah’s diverse cultural traditions.
FAMILY-FRIENDLY & SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE
Designed as a family-friendly festival for all ages, NBRF 2026 offers something for everyone. The programme features a Cultural Show on Saturday, 31 October, followed by a Music Concert on Sunday, 1 November, alongside dedicated kids’ workshops, nature exploration activities, interactive art and music spaces, and opportunities for visitors to discover and engage with Sabah’s diverse cultural traditions.
A vibrant food village will offer a diverse range of flavours, while the artisan market will showcase local creativity, crafts and products. Together, these experiences create a festival environment where families, friends, artists, communities and visitors can gather, explore and connect.

### NORTH BORNEO RAINFOREST FESTIVAL – EDISI ANTARABANGSA 2026

North Borneo Rainforest Festival kembali pada 31 Oktober dan 1 November 2026, menghimpunkan budaya, muzik, seni, kreativiti, komuniti dan semangat hutan hujan dalam satu hujung minggu yang tidak dapat dilupakan.
Berpandukan tema 2026, *“Misoloot Sopisupi” (sebuah perhimpunan leluhur)*, NBRF menjadi titik pertemuan yang meriah di mana masyarakat, idea, tradisi dan ekspresi kontemporari bertemu dan bersatu.
Edisi Antarabangsa 2026 ini menghimpunkan delegasi budaya dan artis dari Guam, Taiwan, Filipina, Kalimantan Barat dan lain-lain, sekali gus membuka ruang untuk pertukaran budaya sambil meraikan kekayaan warisan pribumi Sabah serta kepelbagaian landskap kreatif Borneo.

Sebuah 'food village' yang meriah akan menawarkan pelbagai cita rasa, manakala pasar artisan pula mengetengahkan kreativiti, kraftangan dan produk tempatan. Kesemua pengalaman ini mewujudkan suasana festival di mana keluarga, rakan-rakan, artis, komuniti dan pengunjung dapat berkumpul, meneroka dan berhubung antara satu sama lain.

Each ticket admits one (1) person only. Ticket prices are listed in MYR/RM (Malaysian Ringgit) and exclude ticketing and processing fees.

All tickets are sold exclusively online and issued electronically. A printed or digital ticket must be presented for admission.

Each transaction allows a maximum purchase of six (6) tickets.

A ticketing fee of RM4.00 per ticket and a processing fee, based on the selected payment method, will be applied at checkout. These fees are non-refundable.

All ticket sales are final. Refunds, exchanges, upgrades, or cancellations are strictly not permitted under any circumstances.

The Organiser reserves the right to modify the event schedule, layout, or audience capacity without prior notice.

The Organiser and Venue Owner reserve the right to refuse admission or remove any individual without refund or compensation for disorderly conduct, inappropriate behaviour, or any actions that may compromise security or the enjoyment of other attendees.

Professional photography, videography, and live streaming on social media are strictly prohibited.

There are no age restrictions for admission to this event. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied at all times by a ticket-holding parent, legal guardian, or accompanying adult aged 18 years or above. All attendees, regardless of age, must possess a valid ticket at the full ticket price.

Upon entering the venue, all ticket holders are subject to security checks, including bag and body searches.

The resale of tickets or purchasing from unauthorised sellers or scalpers is strictly prohibited. The Event Organiser/Promoter reserves the right to cancel such tickets without compensation and deny entry to the event.
